Shark SUPs are giving away one of their 10’6 iSUP packages to support The Shark Trusts’ virtual event Sept. 25th.
The Shark Trust is hosting a virtual event on Friday 25th September 19:00 BST and invite you all to come along. The plan was to host this event at the Royal Geographical Society in London. But due to COVID-19, and the changing rules and advice, They’ve decided to run this event virtually.
Sharks are some of the most stunning and characteristic predators in our oceans. Over 1000 species of sharks and rays inhabit the ocean’s diverse environments. Encountering the world’s most spectacular species can involve epic journeys.
This year’s guest speakers include:
Paul Rose (TV Presenter & Radio Broadcaster) – Paul is a man on the front line of exploration. One of the world’s most experienced divers, field scientists, and polar experts. Paul helps scientists unlock and communicate global mysteries in the most remote and challenging regions of the planet.
Dr. James Lea (CEO of Save Our Seas Foundation) – James spent time at Bimini Biological Field Station tagging and tracking sharks, so he’s got some great stories to tell!
Nick & Caroline Robertson-Brown (Frogfish Photography) – Nick and Caroline are a husband and wife team of underwater photographers, photo-journalists, and authors. They’re multi-award-winning photographers, have 3 published books, and feature regularly in the diving, wildlife, and international press.
